Delicious No-Cook Meals For Your Next Camping Trip

BREAKFAST

Overnight Oats

Combine rolled oats, milk (or any dairy-free alternative), yogurt, and toppings of your choice in a mason jar or container and let it sit in a cooler overnight. In the morning, you'll have a delicious and nutritious breakfast ready to go.

When camping, we always recommend to employ Leave No Trace rules, especially with food and plastic wrap. In order to make as little mess as possible, here are our recommendations for packing and storage:

Use Lightweight, Compact Packaging

Pack your no-cook meals in airtight containers to keep them fresh and prevent them from getting crushed during transportation.

Keep Perishable Items In A Cooler With Ice

Store yogurt, cheese, meat, and other items in a cooler to keep cool and safe. Make sure you have enough ice. Consider freezing some items like water bottles or packs of juice to use as extra ice packs. Regularly drain your cooler of melting liquids. Most importantly: don’t forget to eat or use all your items, otherwise you might end up with a smelly cooler.

Store Food In A Secure Location To Avoid Attracting Wildlife

Research your camping location and potential rules for food storage. Some campsites and parks require specific food storage, such as a bear-proof container. Keep your food — even your food in a cooler — in your car and lock your car whenever you’re away from the campsite.
